    quartered and thinly sliced

  • large carrot1

    quartered and sliced

  • head cabbage1⁄4

    cut to bite size

  • large onion1⁄2

    coarsely diced

  • large fish fillets2

    cut to bite size

  • minced garlic paste1
  • dried basil1
  • turmeric1
  • dried thyme1
  • cayenne pepper1
  • powdered coriander1⁄4
  • diced tomatoes (with sauce)1
  • tomato paste2
  • chicken stock2
  • cornstarch1
  • cooked rice
  • fresh parsley

Step-by-step instructions

    Place potatoes on the bottom of crock pot.

  2. 2

    Add carrot, cabbage, onion, fish, garlic, basil, thyme, cayenne, coriander, tomatoes, tomato paste, and stock.

    Cover and cook on low for 7 - 8 hours.

    One-half hour prior to serving stir in corn starch until reach desired consistency.

  5. 5

    Serve over rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
