Ingredients

  • tomato purée1 tbsp tbsp

Step-by-step instructions

    Transfer all salsa ingredients into a bowl and mix.

    For the mole, heat the oil in a non‑stick pan, add the onion and garlic and sauté, stirring frequently, until soft. Add the spices, stir, then add the contents of the bean can, cocoa, broth and tomato purée. Cook, stirring often, until the sauce is sufficiently thick.

    Spoon into shallow bowls, top with the salsa and serve.
