Plain 2."Two Way" - Spaghetti & Chili 3."Three Way" - Chili, Spaghetti, and Cheddar Cheese 4."Four Way" - Chili, Spaghetti, Cheddar Cheese, and Onions 5."Five Way" - Chili, Spaghetti, Cheddar Cheese, Onions and Kidney Beans

Ingredients

  • oil2 tablespoons
  • beef, Ground2 1⁄2 lbs
  • water, cold1 quart
  • tomato paste1 -6 ounce
  • large onions, diced2
  • vinegar1 1⁄2 tablespoons
  • Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce1 teaspoon
  • garlic, crushed1 clove
  • chili powder2 tablespoons
  • bay leaves5
  • cinnamon2 teaspoons
  • allspice1 teaspoon
  • cayenne pepper2 teaspoons
  • unsweetened cocoa1 1⁄2 tablespoons
  • salt & pepper

Step-by-step instructions

    In a heavy gauge pot - heat oil, add beef until brown, add onions and water and bring to a boil.

    Reduce to a simmer and add tomato paste and all other ingredients and let simmer 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

    Adjust with salt & pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Remove Bay Leaves before serving.
