Ingredients

2 serv.
  • oats80g g
  • natural yogurt or coconut yogurt4tbsp
  • cocoa powder2tsp
  • honey or maple syrup2tsp

    plus a drop

  • milk175ml ml

    of your choice

  • raspberries8
  • scales
  • small measuring lid
  • tablespoon
  • teaspoon
  • table knife
  • dessert spoon
  • jars for jam, bowls or small serving containers

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Before you start, review our weighing and measuring guide. If you have a digital scale, place one of the jars, bowls or containers on the scale and tare it to zero. Weigh 40 g of oats into a jar, then repeat with the second jar.

  2. 2

Pour yogurt into a tablespoon measuring spoon up to the edge, add it to one of the jars and repeat in the same jar (together you will add 2 tbsp of yogurt). Repeat with the second jar.

  3. 3

Spoon cocoa powder into a teaspoon measuring spoon up to the edge and use a kitchen knife to level off the excess back into its container. Transfer the cocoa into one of the jars, then repeat with the second jar.

  4. 4

Rinse the teaspoon measuring spoon under warm water to remove cocoa, then use it to measure one teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. Add this to one of the jars, then repeat with the second jar.

  5. 5

Slowly measure 175 ml of milk into the measuring cup, then pour about half of the milk into one jar and the rest into the second; you can eyeball it without weighing again.

  6. 6

Stir each jar well until the ingredients combine and the mixture turns chocolate‑brown. Top each jar with a drizzle of honey and 4 raspberries, then refrigerate overnight to enjoy for breakfast the next day.
