  • cups light cream1 1⁄3
  • pinch nutmeg1
  • salt (to taste)
  • white pepper (to taste)
  • apples, peeled and chopped (Granny Smith, Mcintosh, or a combination)2
  • ounces walnuts, chopped2
  • ounces swiss cheese, shredded6
  • cinnamon (sprinkled on top)
  • (9 inch) pie crusts, prebaked for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F1

Step-by-step instructions

    Beat eggs and cream together; add nutmeg, salt, and white pepper to taste.

    Spread apples, walnuts, and Swiss cheese evenly in the pie shell and pour liquid over all. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of quiche.
