A light dinner ready in 15 minutes: juicy basa fillet fried to a golden crust, topped with fragrant butter infused with garlic, green onion and smoked paprika notes. Serve with rice or potatoes for a restaurant‑like experience.
Pour the olive oil into a heated skillet over medium heat. Place the flour on a separate plate, season it with salt and black pepper, then coat the basa fillet in the flour, shaking off excess.
When the oil is hot, add the fillet and fry 2‑3 minutes per side until golden and easily releases. Transfer the fish to a paper towel to drain excess oil.
In the same skillet melt the butter over medium heat. When it begins to foam, add the green onion, garlic, a pinch of salt and a few turns of black pepper. Sauté 1‑2 minutes, then sprinkle the smoked paprika and stir for another 30 seconds to release its aroma.
Pour the sauce over the fillet, quickly coat it with a spoon, and serve immediately with boiled rice or potatoes and your favorite vegetables.
