Juicy, spicy wings – the perfect appetizer for a gathering or party. Baking instead of frying makes them lighter, and the tangy Buffalo sauce adds authentic American flavor. Try it and you won’t be able to stop!
In a large bowl combine the minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, hot sauce, honey and a pinch of black pepper.
Add the chicken wings and toss well to coat them completely with the marinade.
If possible, let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C with convection, gas 4).
Drain the marinade, reserving it in a separate container, and arrange the wings on a large baking sheet.
Bake for 30 min, then drain excess fat, add the reserved marinade and mix thoroughly.
Increase the temperature to 200 °C (180 °C with convection, gas 6).
Return the wings to the oven and cook for another 30 min, stirring a few times so they become glazed.
The wings should become sticky and glazed, with most of the marinade evaporated.
Serve on a large platter alongside other appetizers.
