Juicy carrot strips seasoned with spices, quickly cooked in an air fryer to a golden, crunchy coating. A light, healthy snack that will please everyone—from kids to adults.
Peel the carrots and cut them lengthwise into four pieces, then cut each piece in half – you’ll get 8 sticks.
In a large shallow bowl, combine the spices and potato starch, add the olive oil and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
Add the carrot sticks and toss thoroughly so they are evenly coated with the spiced mixture.
Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. Place a baking sheet or special liner in the basket, arrange the sticks in a single layer. Fry for 18‑20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are browned and crispy. Cook in batches if needed. After cooking, sprinkle with a little salt.
For the sauce, place the yogurt in a medium bowl, add the juice of half a lemon, garlic powder and finely chopped mint. Mix, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Add more lemon juice if desired.
Serve the hot sticks with the sauce. They lose their crunch when cooled, so reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes before serving.
