The Cookbook is from the National Council of Jewish Women --? date This recipe was put into the cookbook by Sheila Weilheimer. This recipe makes wonderful, abeit a bit different, Yams. The recipe is very easy to make. I have changed some of the directions to make things clearer. I also added a bit of butter ( the original recipe had none so this could be made that way-fat free!) .
