Combine chocolate and orange to make this light dessert. It contains vitamin C and heart‑healthy flavonoids found in dark chocolate.

Ingredients

2 serv.
  • 85% dark chocolate25g g

    broken into small pieces

  • low-fat yogurt150g g
  • orange1 small
  • mint sprigsa few

    leaves collected (for garnish)

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Melt the chocolate in short bursts in the microwave or in a heat‑proof bowl placed over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bowl does not touch the water. Let it cool slightly, then add a little yogurt.

  2. 2

Finely grate the zest from half an orange, then peel off the skin and white pith, and cut the orange flesh. The membrane between the segments does not need to be removed unless it is very tough.

  3. 3

Stir the remaining yogurt into the chocolate, then add the grated zest. Place the orange pieces at the bottom of two small glasses, then spoon the chocolate mixture on top. Keep refrigerated for up to three days. Garnish with a few mint leaves before serving.
