This air fryer salmon is unbelievably tasty. Crispy and golden on the outside, buttery and juicy inside, ready in 15 minutes from start to finish.
Prepare the salmon: Remove the skin if present. Pat dry with paper towels until the surface is almost dry. Cut the salmon into 1–2 inch cubes (see photo).
Prepare the spices: Mix the spices in a small bowl.
Coat the salmon with the spices: Toss the salmon cubes in the spices and oil – I usually use my hands to mix thoroughly.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer: Place the salmon pieces in the air fryer (I just dump them in) and spread them out so they are not overlapping. Cook at 400 °F for 8 minutes!
Done! Delicious! At this point the outside should be crispy‑golden and the inside juicy and tasty. When you press each piece with a fork it easily falls apart, leaving a buttery, juicy texture inside. (You can cook 6–7 minutes if you prefer medium doneness.)
