Juicy parsnips, browned in an air fryer and coated with a fragrant glaze of honey, sage and nutmeg notes — a perfect, quick side dish that will fill your home with a festive aroma.

Ingredients

  • parsnips750g g

    (no need to peel), washed, trimmed and cut in half or into quarters lengthwise

  • vegetable oil2 ст. л. tbsp
  • sageжменя handful

    finely chopped

  • ground nutmeg or nutmeg½ ч. л. tsp
  • honey2 ч. л. tsp

Step-by-step instructions

    Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. Place the parsnips in a large bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil, add salt and toss well. Transfer them to the air fryer basket, spread in a single layer and cook for 20–25 minutes until golden and tender, shaking the basket occasionally during cooking.

    Sprinkle the parsnips with the finely chopped sage, add ½ tsp ground nutmeg and a pinch of black pepper, then drizzle with 2 tsp honey. Toss the basket again to coat evenly and cook for another 10 minutes until the glaze is sticky and glossy.
