Crispy Brussels Sprouts in Air Fryer

Cook Brussels sprouts in an air fryer—quick, oil‑free, then highlight the flavor with your favorite spices: hot chili, aromatic bacon or toasted nuts.

Ingredients

4 serv.
  • fresh Brussels sprouts350g g

    or 250 g frozen

  • vegetable oil1 ч. л. tsp
  • chopped cooked bacon

chili powder or toasted hazelnuts — optional

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. If using fresh sprouts, trim the ends, remove outer leaves and halve the heads. Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with oil, add your favorite spices and toss thoroughly so each sprout is evenly coated. Place the sprouts in the air‑fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10‑15 minutes, shaking halfway through.

  2. 2

If using frozen sprouts, spread them directly in the basket and cook for 10‑15 minutes, monitoring for golden colour. Remove the cooked sprouts, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with chosen toppings — chili powder, toasted bacon or nuts.
