Easy Cream of Crab Soup

I can't believe this recipe is not in here. I got this out of Christmas Home for the Holidays Taste of Home Magazine. I made it as the picture looked so darn good.. So easy and it tastes like you slaved all day... I used fat free half and half...

Ingredients

  • large onion, finely chopped↗1
  • medium green pepper, finely chopped↗1
  • tablespoons butter↗2
  • garlic cloves, minced↗2
  • pints half-and-half cream↗3
  • cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed↗2
  • (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted1
  • (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of asparagus soup, undiluted1
  • (6 ounce) cans lump crabmeat, drained↗2
  • (8 ounce) package imitation crabmeat, chopped1
  • cups frozen corn, thawed↗1 1⁄2
  • tablespoon dried parsley flakes↗1
  • teaspoons dill weed↗1 1⁄2
  • teaspoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay)1 1⁄2
  • teaspoon pepper↗1

Step-by-step instructions

    In dutch oven, saute ithe onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add garlic saute 1 minute longer. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cook and stir over medium low heat until heated through Do Not Boil.
