    peeled

  • egg1

    beaten

  • vegetable (sunflower) oil1 tbsp
  • vanilla extract½ tsp
  • maple syrup3 tbsp

    plus extra for drizzling (optional)

  • all‑purpose flour4 tbsp
  • baking powder½ tsp
  • chopped pecan nuts1 tbsp

    or chocolate chips (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

    Cut two thin slices from the center of the banana, set them aside, and mash the remaining banana with a fork.

    Transfer the mashed banana into a microwave‑safe ceramic mug and add the beaten egg, oil, vanilla extract, maple syrup, flour, baking powder, and chopped nuts (or chocolate chips).
