Juicy beef patties, toasted garlic‑coriander naan, fresh beet and arugula – the perfect solution for a summer barbecue that will impress all guests.

Ingredients

4 serv.
  • lean beef mince500g g
  • boiled beet100g g
  • mini garlic‑coriander naan2
  • arugula (bag)50g g
  • sour cream4 ст. л. tbsp

    and onion‑scallion sauce

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Prepare the patties: transfer the mince to a bowl, sprinkle with 1 tsp salt and a generous amount of ground black pepper. With water‑dampened hands, evenly work the spices into the meat. Divide the mixture into four portions and shape the patties. If desired, you can freeze them.

  2. 2

Prepare the ingredients: slice the boiled beet into thin rounds, and cut the mini garlic‑coriander naan in half.

  3. 3

Toast the naan: heat a grill pan or barbecue grill. Grill the naan on both sides until lightly browned, then set aside. Place the patties on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes, flip and cook another 2–3 minutes to desired doneness.

  4. 4

Assemble the burger: on each naan half place a handful of arugula, then a patty, a few beet slices and a spoon of sour cream. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately with a generous portion of green salad and fries. A glass of red wine pairs nicely.
