I got this recipe from the ever reliable Paula Deen. I only make it on special occasions because it's so rich and decadent that looking at it gives you a tooth ache!
preheat oven to 350.
spray a 13x9 inch glass dish with cooking spray.
In a very large bowl, tear or cut the doughnuts into 1 inch cubes.
In another bowl combine the milk, fruit, eggs, raisins, salt and cinnamon.
Pour mixture over doughnuts and stir to combine.
Pour doughnut mixture into tray.
Bake the pudding for one hour.
To make the butter rum sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.Slowly stir in powdered sugar. Remove from heat and whisk in rum, pour over pudding.
