Halloween mocktail

Serve this spooky fruit punch at a Halloween party for children (or big kids). Mix the purple punch and the lychees will appear as “eyes” and frozen “hands”.

Ingredients

14 serv.
  • lychees425g can g
  • cocktail cherries225g jar cocktail g
  • raisins15
  • juice of blackcurrant, blackberry or purple grape1 litre carton l

    chilled

  • cherry or cranberry juice1 litre carton l

    chilled

  • sparkling water1litre l

    chilled

  • disposable gloves without powder2 pairs

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Rinse the disposable gloves and fill each with water. Tie a knot at the top of each as if you were tying a balloon, or use a tight bag clip to seal the opening. Freeze overnight.

  2. 2

Drain the lychees and cocktail cherries, keeping the juice in a jug. Insert a raisin into one end of each cherry, then place the cherries into the lychees to create “eyes”.

  3. 3

Pour all the juices, together with the saved lychee and cherry juices, into a large bowl with the “eyes”. Carefully remove the gloves from the frozen “hands”, add them to the punch, then top up with sparkling water.
