How to make cold coffee infusion

Rich in caffeine, this chilled cold coffee infusion will cool you on hot days and give you the necessary energy boost. Enjoy an extremely refreshing start to your day.

Ingredients

200 serv.
  • ground coffee50g g

    (use coarsely ground for French press)

  • ice
  • sparkling water

    or still water for dilution

Step-by-step instructions

    Pour 400 ml of cold water into a large pitcher or jar and add the ground coffee, without stirring the mixture. Cover and let steep for 24 hours.

    Gently stir the mixture, then pour it through a funnel or sieve lined with a coffee paper filter (or kitchen paper) into another large pitcher. This concentrate will keep in the refrigerator for 2–3 days.

    To serve, dilute 1 part of the cold infusion with 2 parts of still or sparkling water (to taste) and serve with plenty of ice.
