A delicate taste of classic Banoffee pie in a tiny cup – an edible gift for the holidays. Chocolate, Dulce de leche caramel and crunchy banana chips create a flavor fireworks you’ll want to share with friends.

Ingredients

  • dark chocolate150g g

    chopped

  • milk chocolate150g g

    chopped

  • mini digestive biscuits12

    (or crushed digestive biscuits)

  • banana40g g

    chips, finely chopped

  • dulce de leche100g g
  • chocolate curls

    gold sprinkles or edible gold leaf, for garnish (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

    Line a 12‑cup muffin tin with paper or silicone liners. In the microwave, melt the dark and milk chocolate together, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth (1‑2 minutes). Distribute a mini biscuit into each cup, sprinkle with banana chips, then pour melted chocolate to cover the biscuit, leaving a little space. Freeze the tray for 15 minutes.

    Stir the dulce de leche until soft, then using a teaspoon or a pastry bag place a small dollop in the centre of each cup. Pour the remaining chocolate to cover the filling and, if desired, decorate with chocolate curls, gold sprinkles or edible gold leaf. Chill the cups in the fridge for 2 hours, then carefully remove and pack in gift boxes. Keep refrigerated for up to three days.
