6-Ingredient Espresso Brownies

6‑ingredient espresso brownies! With eggs, sugar, butter, flour, cocoa and espresso. So simple and very tasty! Yum!

Ingredients

12 serv.
  • melted salted butter1 cup
  • sugar2 cup
  • DeLallo espresso powder0.333333 cup
  • eggs4
  • all-purpose flour1.5 cup
  • unsweetened cocoa powder1 cup

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. 2

Beat together the butter and sugar for 30 seconds. Add the espresso powder and mix until smooth. Add the eggs and mix until fully combined.

  3. 3

Add the flour and cocoa powder and stir only until just combined, so no streaks of flour remain. Add a pinch of sea salt and/or a handful of chocolate chips if you feel inspired.

  4. 4

Transfer to a 9×13 cm baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes or until the center is set (I usually like to underbake, so 30 minutes is perfect; if you want chewier brownies, bake 35–40 minutes). Eat and be happy!
