  • yellow cake mix1 box

    (18 1/4 ounce)

  • eggs3

    (or as called for by your cake mix)

  • oil1⁄3 cup

    (or as called for by your cake mix)

  • water1 1⁄3 cups

    (or as called for by your cake mix)

  • water1⁄4 cup

    extra water

  • instant vanilla pudding1 package

    (3 1/2 ounce), the small box

  • Reese's Peanut Butter cups10

    broken into chunks

  • FOR THE FROSTING
  • powdered sugar1 box

    (1 lb)

  • cream cheese1 package

    (8 ounce)

  • Cool Whip1 container

    (8 ounce)

  • Reese's pieces1 cup

Step-by-step instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the pan that you plan to use with nonstick spray (see box for pan size).

    Mix cake ingredients as per directions on the box plus the 1/4 cup of the extra water.

    Add in the peanut butter cup chunks.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool.

    Blend icing ingredients together and spread on cake.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle Reese's Pieces on top.
