Les fleurs du mal cocktail (the flowers of evil)

• rose petal vodka↗50ml ml

  (make your own if preferred – see tip below)

• freshly squeezed lemon juice↗25ml ml
• egg white25ml ml
• absinthe↗5ml ml
• orange zest↗strip of

Step-by-step instructions

   Put all the ingredients except the orange zest in a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice). Add ice to the shaker and shake again. Strain into an absinthe glass or small wineglass and squeeze the strip of orange zest on top of the drink for the aroma, then discard it.
