Make for kids and teens! These banana lollies with chocolate, 'hundreds and thousands' sprinkles and strawberries are perfect for a party or after‑school snack.

Ingredients

4 serv.
  • bananas2
  • large strawberries4
  • natural yogurt100g g
  • dark chocolate200g g
  • hundreds and thousands1 tbsp tbsp
  • wooden sticks for lollies

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Peel the bananas and, if desired, trim the ends so they look neater. Then cut each banana into 4 equal pieces. Thread a strawberry onto each lollipop stick first, then add the banana pieces.

  2. 2

When all banana lollies are ready, spread them on a tray and place them in the freezer uncovered for 1 hour.

  3. 3

Pour the yogurt into a tall glass or jug, then dip each banana lollipop into the yogurt to coat it (avoiding the strawberry), and place it back on the tray to refreeze until firm.

  4. 4

Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30‑second intervals, stirring after each heating, then pour it into a cup. Dip the end of each banana lollipop into the chocolate, then sprinkle with 'hundreds and thousands'.

  5. 5

The chocolate will set almost instantly, but you can keep them in the freezer until serving, up to 1 week.
