Step-by-step instructions

   Place two martini glasses in the refrigerator to chill. Skewer the olives onto two cocktail picks and set aside.

   Fill a mixing glass or shaker with ice, then pour in the gin, vermouth and olive brine. Stir until the outside of the mixing glass becomes cold. Taste to ensure the drink is very cold and the dilution is to your liking.

   Strain the mixture into the chilled glasses and garnish with olive skewers.
