White chocolate bark and chocolate‑coated strawberries are easy to make, but the homemade touch will impress guests at a summer party. Use them to decorate cakes as well.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside another tray or flat plate for your strawberries. In a bowl gently melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30‑second intervals on medium power until melted, or melt it in a bowl over a pot of simmering water.
Holding each strawberry by the stem, carefully dip it into the chocolate only halfway. Let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl, then gently place on the parchment.
Pour the remaining chocolate onto the prepared tray and spread gently to form a thin sheet. Sprinkle with the crushed biscuits and meringues, as well as a generous amount of freeze‑dried strawberries. Allow to set completely.
After setting, break into pieces, then lift off the parchment. If storing, place back on a tray lined with fresh parchment and cover with film, ensuring it is kept in a cool, dry place so it does not melt.
