Step-by-step instructions

   Pour the gin, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur and crème de violette into a shaker, add a handful of ice and shake well.

   If desired, add a splash of chilled water to slightly dilute the drink.

   Strain the mixture into four chilled cocktail glasses.

   Garnish each glass with a few blueberries and lemon zest, and serve immediately.
