Candy Cane Vodka

Step-by-step instructions

   Break the candy canes into small pieces about 2 cm long. Transfer them to a large jug or jar and pour in the vodka until they are covered.

   Cover and chill for at least 3‑5 hours, or until the candies dissolve (some candy may remain, but most should melt). Strain and pour into clean bottles through a sieve or strainer using a funnel. It will keep chilled for up to a week. Serve chilled as a liqueur or in a cocktail (see “pairs well with” section below).
