Beautiful

Years ago, I discovered this wonderful cognac-based drink with a distinctive French origin. It has only two ingredients, and I have experimented with different brands until I discovered what combination I preferred the most--but do experiment on your own to find out what brands you prefer. It's more of an after-dinner drink to sip and enjoy as you slowly savor every last bit of it. And I really do hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

1 serv.
  • ounce cognac (I prefer Courvoisier)1 ounce

    (I prefer Courvoisier)

  • ounce orange liqueur (I prefer Grand Marnier or Triple Sec, but others work well too)1 ounce

(I prefer Grand Marnier or Triple Sec, but others work well too)

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Layer the two ingredients in a short brandy snifter or cordial glass, and enjoy.
